The Diocesan Centre provides space and opportunity for prayer and reflection, large and small group work, communal social time and many indoor and outdoor activities. Retreats and events are led by a team of volunteers, aged between 18 and 25.
In the inspired words of Blessed John Henry Newman, we have all been created by God “for some definite service”. The group is for young adults (18-30’s), men and women, who are actively discerning God’s calling for them in their lives, to discover what is that “definite service”. We come together for prayer with a talk and discussion followed by social time. We meet on the 4th Friday of every month from 7-9pm in the Hinsley Room in Morpeth Terrace, next to Westminster Cathedral

In 1962, the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales officially set up CAFOD - then known as the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development, but today is the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development. Today, CAFOD is still bringing about change as a result of the immense commitment and generosity of the Catholic communities of England and Wales. There are now two Fast Days each year - one during Lent and one during Harvest - and money is raised not only by fasting, but through a wide range of imaginative sponsored events in churches, schools and youth groups across England and Wales. The CAFOD youth team works directly with those who have face-to-face contact with young people, and aims to produce resources to best serve your needs, as well as training and support in all aspects of youth work relating to global justice.

Catholic Boogie Night (CBN) is a dynamic venture organised by a group of young adults in their spare time to bring their fellow Catholics from across the Diocese of Westminster and beyond together to pray, socialise and network with each other. The CBN Organising Team believe the events they organise are a unique way of bringing Catholics together from different parishes in a relaxed atmosphere to get to know each other . The event format is simple, the event starts with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass or Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and then people can grab a drink in a nearby social venue, meet new friends and have a ‘boogie’ on the floor. All proceeds from the events go to charities such as the Aid to the Church in the Need and the Good Counsel Network. Tickets are normally £5 if booked in advance and £10 on the door and you don’t require a mortgage to buy a drink! If you are 18+ (I.D maybe required on the night) there is simply no good reason not to come along. The feedback from previous events has been nothing short of phenomenal! To be kept on the mailing list or find out more about booking tickets please email the CBN team on:

FSPlus is a young adult (20s & 30s) ministry promoted in London by the British Jesuits. It organises several opportunities for young adults to practice their faith in an Ignatian context. Our core event is the monthly First Sunday Mass, with social time in the pub afterwards. That’s each month (on the 1st Sunday!) and is a chance to make friends with other young Catholics in London. Third Sunday Mass is quieter, more reflective with guided Ignatian contemplation and a friendly glass of wine afterwards. We propose various other events across the year: CLC, Ignatian faith-sharing groups, the “Walk the Cross” Good Friday mini-pilgrimage, reading-groups, vocation discernment, Theology-on-Tap, and opportunities to do local & overseas voluntary work. We work closely with our partners JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service) and CAFOD. All young adults (20s & 30s) are welcome at Farm Street Jesuit Church, just off Mount Street in Mayfair. Nearest tubes: Bond St or Green Park. Masses start 7.15pm on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, 12 months a year.

The Latin Mass Society is a lay-led association whose main objectives are to promote the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite of Mass, and to encourage greater use of the Church's traditional liturgical music, especially Gregorian Chant, and wider knowledge and use of the Latin language. As well as organising celebrations of Mass in the Extraordinary Form, and providing training for priests and servers wishing to learn the traditional liturgy, the Society also supports and organises courses to learn Gregorian Chant and the Latin language. In addition it arranges pilgrimages, retreats and days of recollection. The LMS provides financial support to groups running children’s summer schools, family retreats, and for youth groups, such as Juventutem. It sponsors young people attending WYD and the annual Paris to Chartres Pilgrimage and much more besides.
