CATHOLIC UNDERGROUND LONDON
CATHOLIC UNDERGROUND LONDON is going to be 1 YEAR OLD!!. And to mark the occasion we're hosting our next Catholic Underground on Saturday 20th March in Balham - 7.30pm.. We'll have Matt Dean headlining, along with a full band.. So pop the date in your diary and don't miss out.. It promises once again to be a great night..
Our last event in January with the Sounds of Salvation was a great success - thanks to all who attended.. Matt Dean is next up.. He has been leading worship music on the UK's Catholic circuit for a number of years, and if you've never seen him before he is an incredibly gifted Catholic musician in the Christian contemporary rock style..
And of course we'll still be in the wonderful Season of Lent so it will be a great way for us to go deeper in our faith. We'll start at 7.30pm with a Eucharistic Holy Hour in the presence of our Lord.. This in many ways is the heart of Catholic Underground.. Kuba and co. from Soul Food will be leading us with contemporary worship music, we'll have Evening Prayer, and there will be Confessions available too.. Please don't be late, for a lot people this is their favourite bit!
We then head over to the hall and you know the rest.... Matt will be playing his set, there'll be light refreshments, and hopefully you'll get a chance to meet some new faces.. In fact this will be a perfect evening to bring people along for the first time (Catholic or no).. Your mission, therefore - should you choose to accept it - is to fill the hall again!. . (Btw, Catholic Underground is free but we do depend entirely upon your donations to keep it going - so please be generous when you come - thank you. (O:)
Ok, so it really has been a great first year at Catholic Underground and we'd like to thank everyone who's been a part of it.. However, it doesn't end here, there are some exciting things in the pipeline.. just watch this space and we'll keep you posted...
...in the mean-time we look forward to seeing you and all of your friends on March 20th in Balham!!. .
