I don't often frequent pubs but I say retain the name 'Cardinal' It is a form of identity.

As a person who would love to come to England, I would make a special effort to come to The Cardinal, but would have no special reason to come there if the name is changed. I would enjoy seeing the history of the place displayed. This unique and powerful history is what sets The Cardinal apart from every other 'English Pub'

Keeep it as it is! It has strong loocal associations being so close to the Cathedral. I was a regular there when I was at University, and Cardinal HUme was seen there from time to time!

There are hundreds of 'Windsor Castle' pubs, but only one Cardinal. I am a civil servant based nearby and have used the pub since 1997. The link with Cardinal Manning is important as he was a hero of the London workers. Also, the pub is close to the Cathedral and other church buildings. The owners just want to cash in on the tourist trade. Leave the Cardinal alone!

Oh no! It would be so sad if it was changed to The Windsor Castle! No castle near that pub, but guess what - there is a Cathedral and, wow, Cardinals have been there. Surely better to keep with the theme of the locality!
