Monthly celebration with catechesis at St Aloysius, at the new Centre for Youth Ministry. Each month the celebration will be led by one of the bishops, and the first event on Tuesday 6 November will be launched by the Archbishop of Westminster, Archbishop Vincent Nichols.
The new season has arrived for our Lectio Prayer Group. This prayer group for young adults meets in St Aloysius Church, near Euston station in central London.
Fourteen new volunteers have begun a year living and working as youth missionaries in the Diocese of Westminster at SPEC.

National Youth Sunday is an initiative of the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales. The Feast of Christ the King, the last Sunday of the Church's liturgical year, just before Advent is designated as Youth Sunday. This year it falls on the 21st November.

St Therese of Lisieux Young Adults Event -14th October
Join together with other Young Adults to pray around the relics of St Therese - “the remains of a burnt out love”. Discover more through the liturgy about her spirituality of the “Little Way”, finding God in the ordinary, everyday things of life.
The liturgy begins at 7:30pm at Westminster Cathedral, with Mgr John Armitage, and will be followed by an all night prayer vigil. This will be the last opportunity to do so before they leave the country.

This scheme is now in its sixth year. The Bishops Conference is seeking to recruit 5 Catholic gradulates, to work for 10 months from October 2009 to July 2010. The interns will be selected on the basis of ability and potential to gain most from the experience. Financial support will be provided to cover living and travel costs for the duration of the internship.

Exploring how to do effective and fruitful youth work. A day aimed at youth work volunteers and young people.
Cell groups are small groups where young people can grow in faith and friendship.
Jo and Duncan Stow will be leading the day and have an experience of running cell groups for ten years. Duncan presently oversees more than 20 groups. As a couple they have witnessed first hand how youth cells have impacted the lives of many young people. Ben Cordy is a young Catholic who has been part of a youth cell, helping to lead it. He is currently working with Duncan helping to support youth cells across Leeds.

As part of a new programme of young adult ministry in Hertfordshire we are very pleased to host a series of talks on Wednesday evenings in the Parish of Ss Alban and Stephen,
