SmartLoving Marriage is the new name for CelebrateLove, the two-day non-residential marriage seminar that has been so successful in helping married couples revive and refresh their marriages, drawing on the wisdom of the authentic Catholic teaching on the Theology of the Body.  And for couples whose marriages are deeply troubled, Retrouvaille offers a lifeline.

We are delighted to announce that the Passionist Family Group Movement (PFGM) is active in three of our parishes – Our Lady of Victories, Kensington, St Joseph's, Highgate, and now Marychurch, Hatfield. 

With loneliness and isolation so prevalent in our society, Family Groups create an extended family atmosphere within the community, opento everyone, where people care for, love and accept each other.

Launched in 2007, FAMILIAS is the national network of diocesan family ministry coordinators. 

The Pontifical Council for the Family will coordinate the efforts of dioceses around the world to promote laws, projects and research that work toward strengthening the family.

Cardinal Ennio Antonelli, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, spoke of the new initiative at a meeting in Barcelona.  A press statement from the Archdiocese of Barcelona said the council would work with various episcopal conferences 'to sensitise public opinion in favour of positive laws regarding families.'

In response to the growing confusion over gender, the Fatherhood Foundation in Australia has issued a report entitled: '21 Reasons why Gender Matters'  with contributions from over 30 academics and researchers.
