In preparation for a Catholic wedding, it is essential for every engaged couple to have completed a Marriage Preparation Course, no matter where in the world they are getting married. Couples are advised to make finding a course a priority in their wedding plans to avoid last-minute panic - courses are not available all year round.  (Click  HERE for our continuously updated list of Marriage Preparation Courses)

CHARTER OF THE RIGHTS OF THE FAMILY - Presented by the Holy See to all persons, institutions and authorities concerned with the mission of the family in today's world October 22, 1983.  (Click  HERE to view or download the Charter)
