Small Communities can be an effective way in which to deepen our spirituality, to become a closer disciple of Christ and a place where we can further understand his mission. So how can you start a Small Community? Here we’ve outlined a five-step process to help you create a Small Community.
Talk to your priest – he will be aware of existing small groups or communities in your parish. Others may have approached him with the idea - and he might be able to put you in touch. You may be in a position to revive faith sharing groups that have lost momentum in the parish. Enriching other types groups such as CAFOD, SVP, etc. so that they may become small communities is an excellent idea.
