The Agency for Evangelisation - Small Communities

How to: Start a small community

Small Communities can be an effective way in which to deepen our spirituality, to become a closer disciple of Christ and a place where we can further understand his mission.  So how can you start a Small Community? Here we’ve outlined a five-step process to help you create a Small Community.

Setting the scene is of great importance. We have already mentioned that the location needs to aid relaxation. Refreshments, tea, coffee and cakes perhaps a glass of wine can help people relax and then to share. An open Bible, an image some music are also useful aids to developing a prayerful atmosphere.Try to get together images and music that you feel will help set the scene.

We will soon have some images, video and audio uploaded to this website for small community use.
