Caritas Diocese of Westminster (CDOW) facilitates social outreach work to tackle poverty and social exclusion.

It is an agency of the Diocese that brings together established charitable organisations, enabling them to share resources and expertise in helping the poor and marginalised.

CDOW connects diocesan agencies, charities and statutory agencies with local initiatives such as parish projects. Work is based on sharing good practice and collaborative working.

It is made up of an advisory board, a director and a number of paid and volunteer staff.

The work of Caritas is complemented by the Saint John Souhtworth Fund, the Deaf Service, and the St Joseph Pastoral Centre.
