Cardinal's 'Thought for the Day' on BBC Radio 4

Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor has made a special broadcast from the Holy Land for BBC Radio 4's 'Thought for the Day'. In the broadcast , heard on Friday 22nd December 2006, he said that the profound message of Jesus is of peace and reconciliation.

The Cardinal is taking part in an Ecumenical Pilgrimage in solidarity with Christians living in the Holy Land in the week leading up to Christmas. The pilgrimage is in response to invitations from Christian Churches in the Holy Land.
Also taking part are the Most Revd Dr Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury; Bishop Nathan Hovhannisian and Reverend David Coffey.
