A new independent film, using a blend of drama and documentary, explores the issue of a woman's ability to choose to have an abortion.
South Dakota: A Woman's Right to Choose isn't yet on general release, but has aready riveted audiences at a series of screenings in California. The film's director, Bruce Isacson, began with the idea of making a documentary on the subject of abortion. “Documentaries draw small audiences,' explained Isacson, 'So my passion to bring clear understanding of the subject stirred me to dramatize two personal true-life stories that would represent both sides of the issue.”
