The Open the Doors Festival served our aims of improving the communal life of the parish and communication within it.  Many parishioners are now aware of aspects of parish life of which they were previously ignorant, and have decided to participate in some fashion....

 'The turnout for the Mass on Saturday 15th July was fabulous - our church was full - with music - ethnic groups - colour and movement.'

500 raised by local choir

Over 500 was raised for charity last weekend by the Chiswick Catholic Parishes Children's Choir as part of the Open the Doors Festival.

Hanwell's Open the Doors was in the form of a Mass for the Sick and Housebound at 3pm on 9th July.  It was very successful....

A great Open the Doors Festival was celebrated in St Mary Magdalene, Whetstone where the first ever professed Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Papua New Guinea came to the UK for a few weeks in July and then left for the order's mother house in Paris.  Click below for the full story.

Rock of the Anointed musical, Willesden Green

In Willesden Green members of the parish of St Mary Magdalen got together to put on Rock of the Anointed as part of the Open the Doors Festival.


Mystery Plays at Mary Immaculate, Barnet

St Albans Deanery Festival

The St Albans Catholic Deanery Festival that took place at St Albans Abbey on 18th June gave more than 500 people the opportunity to pray together and celebrate Mass in the nave.

Thousands of Catholics opened the doors in a special way to people in their own communities and to the wider community last weekend as part of the Diocesan Festival of Faith: Open the Doors.   Around 100 parishes organised more than 150 events from drama to talks to special Masses.
