TALENTS /GIFTS

Our Parish needs help to clean the church.

At present it is cleaned once a month by a small group, but really needs to be done weekly. Any volunteers?

The Rectory (the Priest's House) also needs to be cleaned. Any volunteers?

Our Parish Office needs more help with basic office skills. Any volunteer?

If you can offer your gifts voluntarily in this way, which clearly involves that precious gift of time, please let Fr Barnes know.

Archbishop Vincent's Lent Course, "Living As One," is every Monday in the Parish Room at 6.46pm-8.00pm.

Each week we recite the Creed adopted at the First Council of Nicaea (AD 325). The next three weeks of "Living As One, our Lenten faith sharing season, look closer at what the Creed says about the Church that Christ left to continue his ministry and pass on the message. This week we explore the oneness and holiness of the Church, which stems not from the holiness of its people or our efforts for unity but from Christ himself. "I am the vine," said Jesus, "you are the branches" (John 15:5).

Copies of the booklet are available from the Sacristy or at the meeting, Price £1, or you can download the full text by visiting www.rcdow.org.uk/lao
