GETTING TO KNOW YOUChurch choir members, cleaners, readers, servers, offertory collectors and eucharistic ministers are invited to one of two meetings to be held in the Community Centre on Saturday, September 29 and Saturday, October 6. Both meetings from 2.30 – 4.30pm.The schedule and aim of the meeting is:

b] there will be a talk on ministry:
c] we will end with some prayers.
Because of numbers, meetings will be held over two Saturdays and you are invited to attend one. A sheet will be available soon for you to sign up for either date.

INDIAN EVENINGAt Quex Road Methodist Church Hall, Kingsgate Road, NW6 on Saturday 18th August at 5pm. Admission: Adults £5: children (under 12 yrs) £3; Family (2 adults & 2 children) £12. For tickets contact: 020 7624 3075 or 01923 224 706. The evening is in aid of purchasing a Cabalt machine for cancer treatment at the International Cancer Centre, Kanyakumari, S.India.

PAN-AFRICAN ANNUAL MASSTo commemorate the bicentenary of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade will be held on Sunday 16th September at 3pm at St. George’s Catholic Church, 132 Shernhall Street, Walthamstow, London E17 9HU. There will be a procession to mark the occasion. After Mass there will be a Reception in the Parish Hall. All are cordially invited to attend and experience African Liturgy

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2008The preparation course for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion 2008 begins in October. Children should be in school year 3 or above, and parishioners of this parish. Please contact Judith at the parish office for further information. If you have a child with a learning disability or special educational needs who is to be prepared for First Communion, please let us know so that we can arrange for them to be included.
CONFIRMATION 2008The preparation course for Confirmation 2008 begins in the Autumn. The course is open to young parishioners of this parish who are in school Year 10 or above, and who are practising Catholics. We will make every effort to include anyone with learning difficulties or special needs - please let us know. We may also be able to open this course to adults. Contact Judith at the parish office for further information.

BAPTISM POLICYParents must make an appointment with Sr. Margaret at the Presbytery on Tuesdays to discuss arrangements. See our Baptism Policy here or pick up a copy from the Parish Office. Parents must be registered for more that six months before making a booking for baptism.
