Parents who wish to have their child baptised will need to attend the Baptismal Preparation Course. They also should commit themselves to attend Mass regularly and do their best by example to help their child to grow in the practice of the Faith within the Catholic Church. Please download the Application for Baptism of a Child and return the completed form to the Presbytery. This year's Baptismal Courses for parents who want their children baptised here will be held on the following dates: FEBRUARY COURSE 1: Friday the 5th, 12th and 19th of February at 7:30pm in the Day Chapel. APRIL COURSE 2: Friday the 16th, 23rd and 30th of April at 7:30pm in the Day Chapel. JUNE COURSE 3: Friday the 11th, 18th and 25th of June at 7:30pm in the Day Chapel. OCTOBER COURSE 4: Friday the 8th, 15th and 22nd of October at 7:30pm in the Day Chapel.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The RCIA: Journey in Faith programme is an easy and friendly setting where we together explore life’s meaning with the help of our own life experience, the Scriptures, Tradition, and the Church’s Teaching.

Everyone is welcome including parents who want to be confident of answer-ing questions raised by their children, partners and friends, young people who sense God is calling them to a spiritual awakening who want to make the most of their lives, anyone who feels the need to put their lives on a new footing because life does not seem to be delivering all that it promises, or Catholics who have fallen away from the Church for any reason and are considering returning yet feel the need to be better informed about the real nature of the Church, or any one who wants to learn more about what Catholics believe. Perhaps you feel God is calling you to be a Catholic and this is the next stage for you. Whatever your reason or background you are most welcome to join us and you can be assured of our prayers and indeed the regular prayers of the whole community.

Sacrament of Holy Communion

If you wish to enroll your child for the First Holy Communion Programme please fill in the application form and return it to the presbytery. The programme is for children of School Year 3 and upward. We expect the parents to accompany their child in this important stage of his/her journey and to participate fully in the various preparation meetings, special liturgical celebrations and the weekly celebration of Sunday Mass. The programme starts each year in September with the the First Holy Communion taking place and the Presentations and Party in June.

CONFIRMATION FOR OUR TEENAGERS

Application forms:
Young People who wish to be confirmed in May 2010 please pick up an Application Form, fill it in and return it to the Presbytery together with a copy of your Baptismal Certificate.

Opening Mass and Social:
Application forms must be returned before Sunday 24th of January. The Programme begins with Mass at 6:30pm on Sunday 31st of January followed by a short meeting for Candidates, Parents and Sponsors.
