The Pax Christi Peace Icon will be handed over in relay to parishes in Westminster, Brentwood and Southwark during the 100 Days of Peace 8th June - 27th October 2012.

Entitled 'Christ is our Reconciliation', the twelve panels of the icon feature biblical figures and saints whose stories witness to the healing power of God in situations of conflict and strife. The Icon continues its journey to the three Catholic Churches of Welwyn Garden City to provide a focus for prayer and reflection in preparation for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

It will progress from here to Brentwood Cathedral in the final days before the Olympic Opening Ceremony on 27th July 2012.
