Over fifty young adults aged 17-35 from across the diocese and beyond attended the recent retreat day organised by the Diocesan Youth Support Team (DYST).

121 young adults from Westminster met with a representative from the Spanish Embassy in London and Archbishop Vincent Nichols on Sunday 17 July 2011 at Westminster Cathedral Hall.

The Annual Mass for Religious was held at Westminster Cathedral, on Wednesday 2 February 2011. Archbishop Vincent Nichols celebrated the Mass and attended the reception afterwards.

On Saturday 15 January 2011 John Broadhurst, Andrew Burnham and Keith Newton, three former Anglican Bishops, were ordained to the Catholic priesthood at Westminster Cathedral by the Most Revd Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster.

Catholic primary schools joined together for the ninth annual Catholic Children’s Society (Westminster)Carol Service in Westminster Cathedral on 2 December 2010.

On Sunday 7th November Bishop John Arnold celebrated Mass at the Young Adults in the North event at St Joseph’s in Wealdstone. Over seventy young adults from across the diocese came together to join the parish community.

Deacon Vincent Malone was ordained as a Priest at St Mellitus parish, Tollington Park, on Saturday 30 October 2010.

Pope Benedict XVI visited the UK for four days between 16-19 September 2010. During this time visited London for two days before making his way to Birmingham to beatify Cardinal John Henry Newman. To mark the centenary of Westminster Cathedral's consecration, there will be an exhibition opening on 1 July 2010 in the Guild Room located in the Gallery of the Cathedral. The following album shows some of the key artefacts that will be on display in the exhibition.

A service called 'Building a Legacy of Peace' was held on Monday 10 May in Westminster Cathedral to mark the second anniversary of Jimmy Mizen's death. Jimmy was murdered in a bakery in South London on his 16th birthday. The service was led by Archbishop Vincent Nichols and Bishop of London, Richard Chartres. His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, was also in attendance.

Walk a Mile in Their Shoes - 2009

40 pilgrims from around the Diocese travelled to Taize with Bishop John Arnold in August 2009.

Archbishop Vincent Nichols joined over 30 Archbishops from around the world in receiving the Pallium from Pope Benedict XVI during a Mass celebrated in St. Peter's Basilica. The Mass took place on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul.

Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor Golden Jubilee

A special Jubilee Mass for the Religious of the Diocese of Westminster was celebrated at Westminster Cathedral on Sunday, 20th October, 2006, followed by a reception in the Cathedral Hall

Thousands of Catholics opened the doors in a special way to people in their own communities and to the wider community last weekend (14th-16th July) as part of the Diocesan Festival of Faith: Open the Doors.
