St John Southworth Fund
The St John Southworth Fund helps parishes, organisations and individuals tackle poverty, support the homeless, care for older people who are struggling with ill health and meet the needs of vulnerable children. But this work is entirely dependent on donations. Please be generous.
More than 300 grants have been made since the launch of the Fund in 2007. These have been used, for example, to send deprived children on holiday or pilgrimage, to buy a parish minibus, to install a lift for the disabled, to run language classes and courses for volunteers, to set up night shelters, to provide essential household goods and work clothes for people moving on from homelessness and to enable parishes to put the Gospel into practice. Every donation counts, large or small, and will be used to relieve poverty and deprivation in our diocese
