The relics of St Thérèse are to be present at Westminster Cathedral from Monday 12th to Wednesday 15th October 2009.

Choristers from Westminster Cathedral Choir School have sung carols for patients and staff at St Mary's hospital in Paddington.

Deacon Michael Bykar, who had been a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Westminster since 2006, died on Sunday 14th December 2008 aged  fifty-two.

Over 2000 children from Catholic primary schools around the Diocese of Westminster have taken part in the annual Advent Service for primary schools, held in Westminster Cathedral on Friday 5th December, 2008.

Nearly 80 adults and children with learning disabilities participated in the first Mass of Advent at Westminster Cathedral organised by the team from St  Joseph’s Pastoral Centre.

Four students from Bishop Challoner Catholic Collegiate School presented the Cathedral Administrator with a cheque for £474.

The 50th Anniversary of the Chapel at Allen Hall was attended by Auxillary Bishop of Westminster, Alan Hopes and by the Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Faustino Sainz Muñoz.

The report shows that parish income in 2007 increased above the rate of inflation to £33m and it also includes information about the work of key diocesan departments.

Kevin Moule,  a former Anglican clergyman, and David Reilly, a former teacher,  were ordained as Priests on 22nd November 2008.
