The National Vocations Framework, which will help churches support young people discerning their vocation, will be launched in the autumn.
The news comes after Bishops of England and Wales approved the framework at a conference in Leeds earlier this week.
The Framework has three aims.
• To help people understand vocation
• To communicate about vocation more clearly
• To foster the creation of more discernment opportunities.
The Framework provides on-line and printed resources about different vocations, training people to lead discernment groups and a network of trained vocations guides.
There will be a series of one day conferences in four regional centres in autumn 2012, the start of a three year programme to achieve the three aims.
