The Parish was founded in 1936 by Abbot Constantine Bosschaerts OSB who was also the Founder of "Vita et Pax" Foundation.  Dom Bernard Akoeso OSB is our parish Priest and Prior of the Monastery.  You will find that we are a very active and lively community in both liturgical and social areas.  There are many groups and organisations, a list of which is printed in a welcome leaflet.  The ground floor of the building is occupied entirely by the parish.  The Benedictine Centre for Spirituality is upstairs and has a programme of retreats, talks and evening courses throughout the year.  We also host CAFOD Diocesan office.

The parish operates a PLANNED GIVING SCHEME whereby pledges are made by parishioners in a responsible Christian manner, as to their contribution to the Church. This enables us to plan our spending for every day expenses including our contribution to the Diocese of Westminster. Once a year, the parish as a community, votes for charitable giving. A considerable amount of money finds its way each year to those in need anywhere in the world.
