The Parish was founded in 1936 by Abbot Constantine Bosschaerts OSB who was also the Founder of the "Vita et Pax" Foundation. Dom Pascal Pennington OSB, is our new parish Priest. The Parish is served by a Pastoral Team consisting of monks and lay members. You will find that we are a very active and lively community in both liturgical and secular areas. There are many groups and organisations, a list of which is printed in a welcome leaflet. The ground floor of the building is occupied entirely by the parish. The Benedictine Centre for Spirituality is upstairs and is the voice of our monastic Community in Cockfosters. This centre has a programme of conferences, talks, exchanges and evenings courses throughout the year.

The parish operates a PLANNED GIVING SCHEME whereby pledges are made by parishioners in a responsible Christian manner, as to their contribution to the Church. This enables us to plan our spending for every day expenses including our contribution to the Diocese of Westminster. Once a year, the parish as a community, votes for charitable giving. A considerable amount of money finds its way each year to those in need anywhere in the world.
